Kirsten Forrester

Chief executive officer

Kirsten got involved with associations, advocacy groups and the non-profit sector broadly in the late '80s and has never looked back. An experienced generalist manager in the NFP sector, Kirsten has brought her organisational and leadership experience to Vinnies, NCOSS and SDN Children's Services since moving to Sydney in 1994. Psychometric testing for Kirsten's first salaried job (at NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs) confirmed her as "a numbers person" and she enjoys empowering managers and Boards of non-profit organisations to understand their financial position.

In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys bushwalking and baking.

Valentyna Kors

Practice Manager

As skilled professional with over ten years of experience in business administration in commercial and not-for-profit sectors Valentyna is a motivational leader for our Team of Accountants. She spent last eight years working for the peak body for health and community services in NSW.  

Valentyna holds a degree in Physics and Certificates in Human Resource Management and Governance and Risk Management.

Her time off work Valentyna spends hiking, traveling or picnicking with friends and family.

Glenn Murray

Client Manager

Glenn is a Chartered Accountant and started his career with Deloitte. He has held senior finance roles including Australian CFO of Aon and recently working in the community housing sector. Currently he is Director/Treasurer of a local community youth arts co-operative. Glenn has a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Financial Services Institute. 

His passions are his family and playing golf... badly.

Igor Likhorovitch

CLIENT MANAGER, ONBOARDING, TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND PROJECTS

Igor has spent the last 8 years working with and providing support and financial management to non-profit organisations. Having previously worked in the commercial sector, he loves helping non-profits to achieve their organisational objectives and to manage their finances. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and is a MYOB certified consultant. 

Igor has a strong passion for sport, especially soccer.

Peter Hall

Client Manager

Peter has over 20 years experience working within the non-profit sector, delivering financial and management accounting services for Mission Australia. He has held senior Finance roles and is experienced in statutory reporting, treasury and auditing. He is a qualified FCPA accountant with a Bachelor of Business and Graduate Certificate in Commerce.

Peter is passionate about his family, he enjoys gardening and bushwalking.

Jane Chen

TEAM LEADER - ACCOUNTANT

Jane holds an Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Auckland and became a chartered accountant in 2012. She previously worked as an accountant in a business advisory role for more than 6 years in New Zealand. Part of her role was to provide financial services and supporting clients with in house software such as Xero.

In her spare time, Jane enjoys sports and feasting with friends.

Khyati Thakrar

Team Leader - Accountant

Khyati is a CA/CPA qualified accountant with over 10 years of financial management and analysis experience. She spent 4 years overseas working with Chartered practicing firm and 5 in Australia in the corporate sector. Having recently moved to the non profit sector, Khyati aims to deliver versatile expertise to our clients so that they can achieve efficiency in operational accounting and excellency in strategic decision making.

Khyati spends her leisure time walking, reading inspirational books and with family and friends. She loves travelling around the world.

Jorge Mendoza

Assistant Accountant/ACCOUNTANT

Jorge is a qualified Chartered Accountant with almost 15 years experience in accounting and financial auditing, and over 6 years in the not-for-profit sector. Jorge began his career in the corporate sector, but after working closely with a not-for-profit organisation, he realised his skills could be used to make a contribution to the sector.

He loves spending time with his family, riding his mountain bike and doing home improvement.

Cliff Shen

Accountant

Cliff completed both his Bachelor and Master degree at the Australian National University in 2012, and lived in Canberra for 4 years. He later worked for a law firm as a bookkeeper, discovering that working in the accounting field was both stimulating and rewarding. With this passion, Cliff joined Accounting For Good to provide financial services to clients and assist accountants with month-end reporting. He enjoys sports, especially snooker and soccer.

His favourite team is Real Madrid.

Galina Lesogrudova

Assistant Accountant

Galina has over 13 years accounting experience in the public sector. She has a Bachelor of Economics and an Advanced Diploma of Accounting. Galina has been working as a Senior Accountant in different industries, from services to production facilities – but this is her first exposure to the Not for Profit sector. 

She likes to travel and has a passion for fitness and yoga;and rides a Kawasaki.

Hasan Chowdhury

Assistant Accountant

Hasan is passionate about his job, has outstanding skills in financial reporting software and loves improving clients’ financial reporting. He holds a Masters in Professional Accounting and Chemical Engineering and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. 

Hasan enjoys singing and walking at night with a full moon.

Neil Hu

Assistant Accountant

Neil completed a Bachelor of Accounting Degree at Macquarie University in 2008. He has worked in the medical sector as a bookkeeper for 5 years. Neil’s role is to provide financial services to clients and assist Accountants with month-end reporting and enjoys learning! He is working towards becoming a qualified CPA in few years.

Neil likes sports and reading.

Rose Zhao

Assistant Accountant

Rose has five years of experience working with Not-For Profits. Her current role is to provide financial services to clients and assist with month end reporting.

Rose holds Bachelor of professional accounting degree from Macquarie University, Master of Finance from UTS and is an associate member of CPA Australia. Her passion for the industry shows through her excellent accounting skills and attention to detail.

Rose loves numbers; there's something beautiful about knowing whether you've got it right or wrong, It's absolute!

Carmen de la Flor

Accountant

Carmen is a professional accountant and an associate member of CPA Australia, with over 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial auditing. She began her career in the corporate sector in PricewaterhouseCoopers and now finds herself enjoying the challenges of working with non-profit organisations.

She loves spending time with family, going for walks on the beach and dancing to Latin music.

Savy Hughes

BUSINESS MANAGER

Savy has been a long-standing member of the team at Matrix on Board and Accounting for Good, having started as the National Administrator in 2011. She carries a big load here, responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the company, including premises, IT, HR and compliance.

Savy is a born organiser and loves the fact that the work she does behind the scenes helps our staff provide a great level of service to our non profit clients.

Savy loves spending time with her hubby and two young children, and hopes to one day get a puppy called Colonel!
